February 12th...a very special day.

Ben and I are heading to the hospital to see his new baby sister.  Ben was trying to tie up some loose ends on a big deal he was promoting...things were not going well back at the office.



When we arrived at the hospital...there was Katelyn...wondering what took us so long.



Of course dad was there...all smiles.



And Papa...was all aglow



After a brief stint with the nurses, Katelyn joined the rest of the girls...



Then it was Papa's turn again...



And then Mimi's...



After that, brother Ben and his three cousins got to check her out...



But BEN got priority...



The star of the show was loving all the attention...and took a quick bow.

My friend Lee and I took a trip to Bosque Del Apache to photograph the migrating cranes...



There were some serios photographers there....



And...needless to say, a lot of birds.  Here is a field full of Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese.



Two weeks later, Lee and went to Bernardo to catch more of the action...



All for now...

It is hard to believe that I have done nothing on this site for the past 3 months.  I was bloggin away when I got a message that I had used all my memory.  I went back and deleted a lot to free up space but was so disgusted with the site that I quit blogging.  Over Christmas I remembered that blogging wasn't for me but for my friends who I do not see on a regular basis....sooooooo...I'm back.

I am not going to post anything more on the Walt Disney trip...even though there was much excitement and lots to report.  Just suffice it to say...we had a great time.

Our next big adventure was our trip to Greece and Turkey in early November.  It was a ten day cruise on a Greek ship.  We started in Athens .  You can see the city behind me.



Here is a picture of our floating hotel.  We spent 6 days on this boat sailing from one Greek Island to another.



Our first stop was Thessaloniki...



Our next stop was Kavala...



From there we sailed to Dikili and toured Sardis, a Greek Gymnasium...



The most beautiful Greek Island on the trip was Patmos...hands down.  Here is a picture of the sunrise as we arrived in the Patmos Port...

From there we sailed to Turkey and Kusadasi...



Here we toured Ephesus...a truely magnificant ruin:):)

All-in-all, Bobbi and I had a wonderful time.
